During the commemoration of war victims, protesters distributed Saukkanji Kada in remembrance. However, they gathered in front of the police headquarters in opposition to an incident that took place on the night of the 12th, where Sampur police allegedly raided homes, assaulted three women, and arrested another individual. The demonstrators demanded that the responsible police officers be taken into custody and investigated.
The protest was organized under the leadership of the Association of Families of the Disappeared, with the participation of other organizations and activists. At the end of the protest, they also submitted a petition to the police headquarters.
A large number of people joined the demonstration in support of the right to remember those who were forcibly disappeared and killed in the North and East and to stand against racism.
